A role for everyone

  • Some volunteers are “people persons” and love to work with the public. Volunteer roles in this area include cashiering, showing jewelry and collectibles, assisting customers and donors, and answering the telephone.

  • Some volunteers are “fix it” types or love to handle items that come into the shop. Volunteer roles in this area include sorting, pricing, and preparing donations for sale, packing out of season items for storage, arranging store displays, and cleaning and organizing the store.

    We also have a small crew who research, price, and arrange our collectible items.

  • Maybe you have other special skills to share such as photography, filmmaking, technical expertise, social media engagement, newswriting, or display design. Some folks bring leadership experience and can manage staff and operations as a Day Manager.

    Whatever your special skills are, let us know if you have an idea of how it could be put to good use at ECA!

  • We have openings for students and court ordered volunteers depending on our needs at the time of application. Please fill out an application, include the number of hours you require, and the deadline by which the hours are due. Court ordered applicants with theft, violence, or felony charges are not accepted.
