ECA Partner Spotlight: Congregations for the Homeless
Creating a path from homelessness to stable living for men
Among ECA’s December 2022 grant recipients, Congregations for the Homeless (CFH) works to address all the issues—physical, mental, and environmental—that lead men to temporary or chronic homelessness.
Their Bellevue-based programs include 24/7 shelter, outreach, subsidized housing, therapy, addiction support, and housing navigation. The majority of CFH clients are in East King County. CFH is one of the only organizations specifically focused on the needs of men, a vital service considering that the majority of homeless Americans are men.
This March, CFH open the first ever permanent shelter for men experiencing homelessness. Learn more here. ECA is proud to partner with this groundbreaking organization to serve men in the Eastside.
