For the first time in two years, ECA re-opened our grant program this fall. The majority of money raised by ECA sales goes towards our grant fund. Grants are awarded to nonprofit projects that advance ECA’s mission to address housing, hunger, and mental health in the Eastside. Thirteen applications were received totaling over $90,00 in requested funds. ECA’s Grants Committee has reviewed all applications and will submit recommendations for funding approval at the December 8 Board meeting. Recipients and details of their projects will be shared in the next newsletter!
