New Grant Partners for ECA

Congratulations to three nonprofits who received grants from ECA in June 2023. These three organizations are new partners for us and we are thrilled to collaborate with them.

Families of Color Seattle connects families, caregivers, and children of color through peer-led parent support groups; spaces to share culture, skills, and resources; and racial justice education and advocacy. Grant awarded for planning and running Parent Groups serving BIPOC families living on the Eastside.

Platefull partners with local resources to provide the best possible outcome for the needs of the community where all people have enough to eat and no one goes hungry. Grant awarded for van repairs and dedicated foodbank computer for administrative and accounting needs.

Safe Parking at Lake Washington United Methodist Church offers the church lot to homeless women and families as a safe place that provides a clean, safe, off-street parking with nearby access to bathrooms, water and showers. They also provide case management and related services to support residents, with the primary goal of helping vehicle residents find stable housing. Grant awarded for professional portable toilet maintenance.
